libumad2sim0 software package provides InfiniBand fabric simulator, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libumad2sim0
libumad2sim0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libumad2sim0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libumad2sim0 *
You will get with libumad2sim0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
